The Old Bakery Studio always has brilliant up and coming new comedy acts as part of their line-up and 2024 is no exception. Their Comedy Cupboard is fit to burst with new talent. We’re really excited to see what former TV presenter Gail Porter brings in her new comedy venture!
She has just concluded a run of her one-woman show Hung, Drawn and Portered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The show documents her life experiences, from alopecia to homelessness and appears to be a liberating new career direction for the star. Catch her at The Old Bakery Studios in April.

Tribute Bands: The Bowie Experience with Laurence Knight on Saturday, September 23 2024
There are a wealth of amazing tribute acts performing at The Old Bakery Studios this year, including London Calling, The Jam’d and The Amazing Foo Fighterz. However, we’re most excited for The Bowie Experience with Laurence Knight, this two-hour show will be a true reflection on David Bowie’s long and eclectic career, “mixing deep cuts with all-time fan favourites. With costume changes & a huge sound, this gig really is one for the true ‘Diamond Dogs’ and the dedicated ‘Cat People’!”

DJ Sets: The Return of Dub and Dance Hall Legend Don Letts on Friday 5th April 2024
Legendary Dub & Dance Hall DJ, Musician and Filmmaker Don Letts returns to Old Bakery Studios in early April, playing old and new school dub reggae. This is a standing (and probably a lot of dancing) show, so build your energy up for some incredible reggae beats with a hearty meal at Mannings first.
If reggae isn’t your thing, head to The Old Bakery Studio’s Silent Disco on Saturday 30th March 2024. With two channels of music led by The Old Bakery Studio resident DJs in fierce battle. “One channel dedicated to Pop Classics / Guilty Pleasures / Power Ballads and the second channel steadfast to Rock Anthems / Indie Belters / Alt- Rock Bangers. Covering the best of the 80’s / 90’s / 00’s / 10’s.”
