One of Cornwall’s favourite foodie events is due to make a welcome return this September. Truro Food Festival will take over Lemon Quay with five days of chef demos and masterclasses, and stalls from Cornwall’s finest food and drink producers.

Visiting Truro Food Festival is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Cornwall’s famous culinary scene and catch creative chefs live on stage – you’ll probably recognise several from the TV! The next generation of cooking talent will also be on display, with several ‘chefs to watch’ giving demonstrations, and local hospitality students getting their five minutes of fame. You’ll also be able to meet some of the region’s pioneering food and drink producers responsible for much-loved brands, and sample a smorgasbord of sweet and savoury delights.
Coinciding with traditional harvest time, Truro Food Festival will be hosted by Truro Farmers Market and Cornwall Event Cabins – the same dynamic and community-focused team which delivers one of our favourite events, The BIG Christmas Market, each year.
The festival kicks off on Wednesday 25th September and comes to a close on Sunday 29th. The chef line-up and list of producers attending will be confirmed in the coming weeks, but it’s worth booking your accommodation well in advance to be sure of a front row seat here at Mannings!
