Cocktails in Truro: Celebrate at Mannings!

This spring, we’ve added 11 brand new imaginative drinks to our bar menu in a Signature Cocktail Range!  

The new drinks vary from the sharp and tangy Tropical Sour to the sweet and indulgent Chocolate and Peanut Butter Old Fashioned – there’s something on the list to satisfy all tastes. Most of these cocktails can be made non-alcoholic to order too.

Bar Manager Dafydd, who developed the range with our brilliant Mannings bar team, said: “We wanted to create this new menu with as many summer flavours as possible, such as Elderflower, Mango, Pineapple, Strawberries and Violet, making them the perfect selection of drinks for a summer’s day.”

All you need to do now is find your favourite! Enjoy summertime in the city with an ultra-refreshing Pineapple Fields, or opt for a sophisticated Elderflower and Vanilla Spritz to get your night off to a great start.

One of our favourites is Cornish Trinity, named due to the cocktail including only three ingredients, and inspired by the three women who created the amazing Loveday Gin from Falmouth. Wanting to enhance the original flavours of citrus, we added Bergamot.

Here’s Dafydd again: “The menu contains many local artisan products such as Tarquin’s Strawberry and Lime, Lovedays Dry Gin and we even top our signature cocktail “Nearly Home” with Healeys Gold Cyder. Myself and the team really enjoy created this menu, and are also busy working on exciting Cocktail Specials that will be available at the Bar and the Restaurant, so keep an eye out for these.”

The pièces de résistance is our Mad Hatter Tea Party cocktail – the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion with friends. Served up for two or four people, the magical combination of gin, violet, blue tea and vanilla will change colour before your eyes!
